Who We Are
Truckee's newest eye clinic. Dr. Faldowski has been practicing for many years and has worked in a variety of settings. For the past 9 years he has primarily worked with underserved patients living in skilled nursing homes around Nevada. He is licensed to provide routine and medical eyecare to the highest level allowed by the state. Our office provides routine eyecare - eyeglasses and contact lens fitting. We also manage many eye diseases including dry eyes, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and many others. We can detect many diseases that our patients didn't even know existed by carefully examining the eyes. We are excited to work with Truckee and the surrounding communities.
Dr. Gregory J Faldowski, O.D.
Owner/President
Originally from Ohio, Dr. Faldowski has been practicing optometry since 2011. He has worked in a variety of settings but for the past 9 years he has spent most of his time taking care of the unique visual and ocular health needs of nursing home patients throughout Nevada. When not working, Dr. Faldowski can typically be found at home with his lovely wife and four beautiful daughters four dogs and four cats. His golden retriever, Lizzy is registered as a service dog and occasionally spends time in the office.

Dr. Faldowski is certified to treat glaucoma and many other eye diseases. He also has many tools to treat dry eye conditions that are very common in this region.
Michelle
COO / Manager
Dr. Faldowski's wife and business partner, Michelle has been helping take care of the business side of our practices for many years. Dr. F likes to say he sees the patients and Michelle does everything else. She isn't always in the office but you can reach her if you have any questions or concerns about your insurance coverage, eyeglass status or anything else.
Shohanna
Optician / Ophthalmic Technician
Shohanna comes to us with years of \ experience working in the optical industry. She is an expert optician and helps our patients pick out the best eyeglass frames and lenses to meet their needs. She also helps verify insurance benefits and apply those benefits to ensure our patients get the best bang for their buck with their eyeglasses, conctact lenses and medical coverage.

Shohanna lives in Reno with her husband and children and is intersted in assisting the local high school with their wrestling team activities.
Jeff
Technician / Lab
Jeff is the newest addition to our office. He grew up in Reno and has a background in Biology. He is learning all aspects of our office from the front end helping patients pick out eyeglasses, preparing patients to see the doctor and helping run our optical lab
